These records have been collated through numerous sources and have been authenticated where possible. They are by no means complete. The gathering of HCC archive material is an ongoing process. We urgently require old scorebooks to improve the archives.

The Club is grateful to those who have helped in this compilation, including, the Airedale & Wharfedale League Secretary and the Sports Editor of Wharfedale Newspapers.

However, the Club is mostly indebted to the hundreds of scorers who have, over the Club's history, shivvered in draughty scoreboxes, politely suffered the persistant enquiries of players, accepted the odd repremand from Umpires, struggled to find the 'tins' but have recorded faithfully, players' efforts on behalf of HCC - all for a free scorer's tea!
